The "Mr. Bojangles" segment from The History of Black Dance in America 2015 Juneteenth Celebration show. The song, "Mr. Bojangles", was written as a tribute to legendary tap dancer Bill "Bojangles" Robinson. In the 1970s, it was sung often by Sammy Davis Jr., and eventually became his signature song. The routine in our show was done as a tribute to both Mr. Davis and Mr. Robinson.
