Dear Dancers:

General

• We are still hoping to have a production ready by Spring of this year. 
• We have a letter of invitation to perform in London this Summer.  Needless to say, this is contingent on both funding and actually having a production to perform.
• We have started working on grant proposals for additional funding.

Dancers Needed

We need at least two more dancers in order to have any chance at finishing this production by Spring of this year. Thanks to Gwen Allen who created the attached "Dancers Wanted" flyer.  Please print and pass this flyer along to anyone you feel is qualified and may be interested.

Rehearsal Friday

We continue rehearsals this Friday, February 12, 2010 (and the following Monday).  So far, here are the routines we have worked on so far, along with an estimate of completion (how much of the routine we actually know):

1. Holday For Swing (50%)
2. Cake Walk (100%)
3. Hammer Dance (100%)
4. Fad Dances Intro (80%)
5. Pride and Joy (100%)
6. Walking the Dog (100%)
7. Tango (85%)

We really need everyone at rehearsal on time and at the same time in order to begin running these routines on a weekly basis.  So far, we've not had everyone involved in the Cake Walk at rehearsal at the same time for the past 3 weeks.  Therefore, we've not been able to run it for 3 weeks.  Not good.

Ron Parker will not be there Friday.
